LXEdge 1.3.x Release Notes

Warning- Polygraph Files (PFs) collected in LXEdge 1.2 and later will NOT open on older versions of LXEdge. PFs collected on earlier versions of LXEdge will be able to be opened and reviewed in LXEdge 1.2 and later.

 

LXEdge 1.3.1

Released: October 29, 2025

Major Updates

  • Added support for Single Issue Screening Test (SIST).
  • Moved the Audio/Video settings to be a new tab in the Settings tab.
  • Initial support for LX6 Leasing.

Minor Updates

  • Improved the visibility of question set names on the Question Set template page.
  • Assign question set type while importing question sets from LXSoftware.
  • Disallowed saving question sets that don’t have the question set type assigned.
  • Start allowing the Response Onset Window to be enabled or disabled in Settings when reviewing charts.
  • Added setting to allow modifying colors associated with the positive and negative results for RLE and PPG tools.
  • If on the Devices tab, auto-select DAS that is connected for the first time.
  • Re-implement averaging of EDA data as it is received. Averaging had been replaced with decimation in version 1.2.
  • Added line for Minimum Response Latency to chart as well as settings to control its behavior.
  • Improved visibility of chart notes by making bold and using slightly larger font.
  • Added setting for adjusting the size of question labels on a chart.
  • Modifications to ensure text is not cut off when in Spanish mode.
  • Minor changes to layout to allow more vertical space for the chart.
  • OSS-3 Related
    • Added 3-way control to allow for involuntary artifacts
    • Updated reports to display Kruskal-Wallis information.
    • Prevent the Pneumo weight from showing 0 for DLST in the top right section.
  • Added CSV Export.
  • Modified so the Pulse Amplitude Time (PAT) trace goes down when the PAT value goes up.
  • Flatline the cardio trace when value is below 5 mmHg.
  • Stop showing the heart rate while running chart. It was working inconsistently. Heart rate can be viewed using calipers during chart review.
  • Added setting to adjust the chart background color.

Bug Fixes

  • A message about DevExpress being a trial version was incorrectly appearing at the top of reports
  • Under specific circumstances, audio/video recordings would be placed in incorrect location outside of PF. This would occur when starting new PF with recorder already open and “Prompt to start recording at PF start” setting enabled.
  • Set the “Shrink chart to fit on a single page” setting to default to “Off”.
  • Resolve issue that prevented navigation to Scoresheet when in Spanish mode.
  • Under unusual circumstances, an error could occur when e-mailing or archiving a PF.

Major Updates

  • Initial implementation of OSS-3.

Minor Updates

  • When printing Scoresheet or OSS-3 Report, add attachment item to PF if it does not already have one.
  • Added setting to enable/disable the LX7 backlight.
  • Automatically create the PFs folder when a new LXEdge Directory is selected.
  • Renamed PTT to PAT (Pulse Arrival Time).
  • Replaced 120 Hz as allowed data rate for LX6 and LX7 with 90 Hz.
  • Hide PF navigation bar while chart is running.
  • Unselect simulator when selecting any other device.
  • While NCCA import is in progress, show wait cursor and prevent navigation.

Bug Fixes

  • Questions in Scoresheet printout and ESS report and printout could be out of expected order.
  • Adding items to a series while chart is running would lead to undesired consequences.
  • Attempting to navigate to a different chart while chart is running could lead to charts with duplicate names.
  • Under rare circumstances, NCCA export files could incorrectly contain many rows of missing data alternating with valid data.
  • NCCA import would fail when navigating to home page before import was complete.
  • NCCA import would fail for charts that contained question labels ending in "IR".
  • User was able to rerun a chart that was running when Windows Task Manager was used to shut down LXEdge.
  • Automatic firmware update was not working.
